This service has been a lifesaver for us! Chef Ruqaiya creates weekly menus based on our preferences and needs, and expertly makes each delicious meal. All we have to do is heat up the meal in the evening and enjoy our dinner! Now that we don’t have to spend time making a menu, grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning up daily, we have much more time for relaxing and we have much less daily stress. Yes, we spend more money than we would if we used a boxed meal prep service, but we have zero cooking to do, and she creates a customized menu specifically for our preferences. With all the stress from Covid and schools being closed for in-person classes, her service has made our days so much easier! It’s worth every penny we spend!

We used Homestyle Personal Chef to provide a Mexican Fiesta (appetizers and dinner) for our recent anniversary celebration. Ruqaiya coordinated with us in advance on the menu. She did all the grocery shopping, food preparation, and buffet set-up before dinner, and the clean-up and packaging of leftovers afterward. Luckily for me, I heard about Homestyle personal chef service through a friend. The chicken pot pie Chef Ruqaiya prepared was fresh, and packed with delicious organic ingredients that I don’t usually have time to shop for, much less prepare into something edible. Eating it on a cold January day, the dish provided that “comfort food” feeling I’d been craving, and made my apartment feel more like a home. The personalized label listing ingredients and re-heating instructions was also a nice touch; seeing “prepared for Quentin” made me think of the time and care Ruqaiya put into making this dish.
Using the personal chef service from Homestyle was an experience I’d like to have again. In addition to the wonderful dinner, it provided me with a sense of home that can’t be found at a restaurant or in a store.

We have been using Homestyle Personal Chef for over two years. It has been AMAZING! Ruqaiya has provided us with 3-4 meals a week, and has been so easy to work with. Every week she provides us with a suggested menu, which we can tweak as we would like to adjust for our family’s taste- including our now 11 year olds. Then magically a fridge full of delicious food appears!! Her prices are incredibly reasonable. If you are getting take out a few times a week, then this service is absolutely for you. It is less expensive, healthier, and honestly more convenient. And yummier!!

My experience with Homestyle was exceptional! Everything was done in a timely and organized manner from when we started discussing food options to when the food was provided. I have a two and half year old son, Levi, and his age brings food aversions! I was so impressed with how Chef Ruqaiya accommodated Levi’s food likes and dislikes. He loved his meatballs and penne pasta. The beef stew and biscuits was also good, and I enjoyed it until the last bite. Great service and great experience with Homestyle. Chef Ruqaiya prepared a delicious meal. The ingredients were organic, and, in my book, nothing beats organic. The reheating instructions were clear and to the point. Nothing confusing. The rosemary lamb chops were tender and not overly spiced. The fennel and blood orange salad was to die for. I tasted the orange and chevre in each bite. All in all, I loved my Homestyle experience. Thank you so much for the deconstructed reuben. It was honestly so delicious, with all the flavors of a reuben sandwich, but so much more. The moment I smelled the dish, I fell in love.
